Wheel Balancing And Alignment

Unbalanced wheels can make your vehicle uncomfortable to drive and cause premature wear to tyres, suspension and steering components. We

provide professional wheel balancing for cars, vans and 4x4s using modern equipment to keep your ride smooth and safe. Wheel alignment (tracking) ensures your wheels are set to the correct position. Misalignment can be caused by potholes, kerbs or worn steering and suspension parts and can lead to uneven tyre wear, poor handling and reduced safety. We recommend having your alignment checked annually to protect your tyres and performance

Tyre Repairs

Any tyre repair carried out by R&J Strang is covered by the British standard BSAU159f:1990. This standard outlines specific guidelines to the location of the repair on the tyre and the number of repairs which can be carried out. We will inspect every tyre thoroughly before a repair is carried out and if for example the tyre has an illegal tread depth, previous faulty repairs, exposed cords, bead damage, or any secondary damage we will recommend a new tyre. Your safety is our first priority and we will only repair tyres when it is 100% safe to do so.
